Description:
• Algorithm providers can leverage the Bring Your Own Algorithm (BYOA) feature of EDC to propose their algorithm for inclusion in the Insights On Demand collection. Providers are responsible for their algorithm code but benefit from the provided execution platform and customer handling.
• Insights On Demand, is a curated collection of algorithms offered on the Euro Data Cube (EDC) marketplace to generate individually customized EO data products.
• Consumers trigger pay-per-use algorithm executions after reviewing and accepting cost estimates for provided input parameters like area or time of interest to generate results for subsequent use in a Software-as-a-Service style. Consumers either download results in a buy-and-collect style or results are automatically registered in EDC services.
• The demonstration details the necessary steps for an algorithm provider to successfully onboard their algorithm in the Insights On Demand collection. It's only a few steps from coding an idea in an interactive JupyterLab notebook to signing a provider agreement.
