Object Recognition and Classification from Satellite supporting EC / ESA RACE project. In the field of automation for target identification and classification from Earth Observation data, ORCS solution is designed to exploit the power of Artificial Intelligence for the detection of both ships and parked airplanes starting from Copernicus Sentinel-2 acquisitions. A modern approach will be presented showing not only the core AI element in terms of architecture and technology but also all the enhancements techniques developed and put in place aimed to provide the best possible accuracy reducing the limits and errors intrinsic of this kind of application working with data at 10 meters resolution. It will be shown and demonstrated step by step how ORCS solution is triggered, which possible different ways to run the AI model, which results, and format are produced and the overall integration within the RACE dashboard outputting all the results.
