Description:
This one hour roundtable discussion will feature ESA, DLR, industry and users speakers to discuss the needs and requirements for better, more transparent and more accountable systems for storage and exchange of sensitive data in distributed and federated data infrastructures. The speakers will aim to answer seed questions on what are fundamental research objectives to ensure transparent and secure exchange of sensitive data for Machine Learning applications, (decentralised) AI, what sorts of new methods are being developed to achieve this, and how to overcome barriers to the success of new technologies that can enable better use of training data for AI applications in decentralized, self-sovereign, and privacy-preserving European Data Economy.
