Description:
This Agora will address Open Science principles and practice, looking at the various experiences at NASA Earth, University of Muenster, Politecnico di Milano and ESA EOP. Complemented by a Community Survey launched by ESA, this Agora looks to bring forward the challenges and opportunities of adopting Open Science in Earth Observation and Earth Sciences. The panelists will discuss also aspects related to reproducibility, open data and open source management, open education in EO and how companies can successfully adopt business models that rely on community contributed open-source and exploring Open Science avenues in their operations.
